We had a fun trip to the Moon and Mars a couple of weeks ago. They sure have improved on those bulky space suits (wouldn't you say?) It has been a while since we have had a vacationing experience to a new place. We went with Nana and Papa. My dad is a huge science fan (and he is brilliant. He majored in engineering and was good at it -yuck!) Oddly enough, he has never been to the planetarium (the old Hansen planetarium or the new one.) The kids had lots of fun running around the place. Papa has a new telescope with impressive lenses. (?) He has been showing the s the moon and visible planets (Jupiter right now) from home. Karli says her favorite planet is the "one with all the rings."

Did the girls see a star show, too? It looks like they had fun with the exhibits. I never knew that your dad had majored in engineering. One learns so many things from blogs.
